Loose Shaft

Hi Roger. My 6025's shaft has become loose. I tried crazy glue but that didnt work. I remeber you saying that this was an easy fix...some kind of epoxy and its fixed, or do I have to send the pump in or do you just send me a part. The shaft dosent stay seated in the hole. It slides of and the pump has started to rattle. I hope this is enough info. Please let me know if you need additional information from me. Thanks.

I have this question also.

While cleaning, the metal shaft just slid off the magnet. Is this normal? FYI, this one is from the first batch (came with no snail guard).

I put it back together (no glue, just slid it back) and it still works. This happened a month ago. At first the flow was very strong, but now looks to be losing power.

The magnet assembly should come out, but the shaft could not. We are replacing motors if the shaft comes out. You can try to glue it but unless the fit is still tight it will be near impossible to center and everything has to be perfect to get good adhesion. If you want to try it I would use plastic cement, it is a two part adhesive like epoxy but it is actually a methylacrylate type adhesive. It comes in a black tube you can buy at Auto Zone. You can also buy it from an Ace Hardware as DoItBest brand plastic adhesive. It is just a thickened version of the adhesive used to install rear view mirrors. Personally, I suggest we replace the motor.

OK. So do we take the motor out and send it to you or do you just send us another motor or you send us another motor and we send the old one back so we arent pumpless for the week that it might take to get back up and running?

I can do it either way but if I send a pump first and the old one is not returned it voids the warranty so I have to get the old one back. I am out of pumps so you will need to limp by for a couple weeks. You can glue it if you need to, I will still exchange it.

Ok. I will PM you my address and you can send me the new pump when you get them in. I will then return the old one to you. Thanks Roger.

I also have the same problem. My 6025 nanostream (2 months old) sudenly wasn't working. When I opened it the impeller was moving around and I can't get it not to bounce around when I turn it on. Where do I send it and what do I need to send with it?
Thanks

I won't have anything to replace it with though until April 16-18th. I am waiting on more pumps. All I need is your return address on a note in the box.
