loosing some maxima clams.... ?

I have a 1200 gal reef set-up with four large Gigas clams and exotic corals and fish. Recently I have lost 4 out of 8 maxima clams with no apparent reason. The tank runs on Prodibio system with Amino dosing daily. Many large tangs, feed heavy, no phospates or nitrates and feed oyster feast, phyto planton,rotifers when lights go out nightly. Could the tank be running too clean for clams? Large 4 beckett MRC Skimmer that pulls out everything. ORP stays in 400 range. Also no pests on snails........they look fine one day and then retract and die. I do have an african cleaner wrasse that seems to attack them when they are on their way out but not before. Any ideas? all test results for every test kit you have??

when was you last clam addition??? ( and any other recent additions )

what size maximas are we talking about??

sorry for all the questions but there will probably be a lot more to come

Are they exhibiting pinched mantles? How quickly do they go from healthy to dead?
