losing eggs with lights on?

losing eggs with lights on? how is this possible? 75% loss from 6am.

Are they in a display tank or larval rearing tank?

Possibly something (parents/other fish) ate them?

If the eggs went bad, the parents will eat them.

ok thanks kathy. i do not mind if the eggs went bad as long as thats not indicative of a hatching pattern.

i didnt see the eggs turn white etc. .. so . im going to delay the lights next time though. and try to force the hatch.

I have hadd issues with turbo snails, but you can see the marks and are lost in a wsweeping patter. I also have had thinning losdsesfor no reason, as Kathy said, could be bad eggs. Hope this helps./.Carl
