Lost a clown :( can I get a new one?

I lost a clown to my overflow the other night[emoji17] . If I added another one, will they bond? Those two were bonded well and layed eggs a few times.

Out or curousity, how is your overflow set up that it killed a fish?
Secondly, get a small clown, IME larger clowns tend to not be as aggressive towards new introductons if they are smaller

Its a bean animal with a coast to coast overflow. The anemone decided to move beside the overflow without me knowing and the clowns followed.

you should be just fine adding another clown just make sure you add a smaller one and when you go to pick out the clown at the store try to find a group of clowns in one tank and pick one of the small to medium sized ones. make sure there are bigger ones in the tank with it.

Also, add some egg crate or some kind of barrier to your overflow
