Lost a clown today. What can I replace him with?

I lost one of my clowns today. He got stuck on the intake of one of the powerheads, and although I released him, his fins had been mostly torn off, and he was already doomed.

The clown I still have is quite aggressive, so I'm not really interested in having a pair any longer. Now I've got one clown, a royal gramma and a yellow wrasse in my 40g tank.

What could I add, so that I have 4 different fish? Something small'ish, as 4 is pretty much my limit, right?

Nope, no shrimp. The hawkfish's colour would certainly be a nice contrast to what I've already got.

But I bet you our LFS probably doesn't have any. We are somewhat limited in our livestock selections, and that one certainly would have caught my eye.

I'm going to check with them though... Thanks!

Thanks petermai! I HAVE seen the six line wrasse at the LFS, so that at least I know they have. They're pretty cool too.

I'll maybe do some shopping tomorrow!

Two to add to petermai's list: Royal Gramma (inexpensive, pretty, holds it's own against my clowns) and Yellow Watchman Goby (clowns ususally don't notice he's there, and one day I'll pair him with a pistol shrimp). Both are easy to find, not megabucks, and hardy as long as they're healthy at the LFS.
