I have been reefing for 3 years so sort of know what I'm doing.
I have 100g mixed reef tank 2 feet deep, with 6 t5 tubes over head.
2*55k 1* actinic blue +, and 3* 14k. Thank is 5 feet long but not all the bulbs go right to each end. I have lost a green open brain, small red open brain, green maze coral ans a green acan, all 7-18 months old
I went from 4 tubes to 6 tubes 4 months ago. I also when from 78-80 to 80-82 in temp. I did try moving some of the corals into the shade but they just kept on receding. Pain in the back side this hobby some times, any thoughts.
Most intence lighting is on for 5 hours. rest of lighting is on for 8 hours, (3 blue/2 white) and 1 blue 10 hours.

On the + side I have 2 maize corals slightly in the shade shade doing well.
Orange plate, 2* green doughnut/disk coral, brown birds nest, stylpora, fingar monti, scroll, frogs sparn, duncans hammer zoas, candy cane (3 years old), rose bubble tip, fire shrimp, cleaner shrimp, orange starfish, pavona green leef, red blasto yellow polyps, are all thriving a way. and a purpule brain in the shade.

Any thoughts on the new lighting and temp thanks.
