Well my misbar Perculas are no longer a pair. I lost the female last night.
I don't know what got in her head. They have been in there since they were juvies going on 6 years now. She just swam up to a pump intake and firmly lodged herself in it right in front of me. I shut the pumps off for a bit thought she was gonna be okay. I turned the pumps on and she promptly swam into the intake grate of a pump on the other side of the tank. Have no clue what caused this sudden behavior.
Of course this totally stressed her out and she didn't make it. That's her in the top of the pic on my avatar. I still have the male but hard to tell how he's going to take it.
I'm needless to say bummed out over it and not sure what direction to go now.:sad1:
