Lost all clams in 2 days

My clams were doing great for over a month and then they all died in two days. I talked to a few fish stores and no one has a clue.
Everything else in the tank is thriving.
Any ideas?

What kind of fish do you have?
what kind of inverts do you have?
What are your paramaters?
What suppliments do you use?
How do you dose your suppliments?

We have no fish or inverts that go near the clams. I use a two part calcium buffer. Nothing else. The calcium in my tank is always very high. Around 580 ppm. The clams were not eaten. When I pulled them out they all disintegrated. It's almost like something got into the water but I know that is not the case

I would assume it's a water issue w/ your calcium being that high...get your cal down to the mid 400's.

If it's not that it's a predator/nipper...
