I recently lost all of my fish from not using a QT. I have a small bamboo shark, snails and hermit crabs in my reef tank. Can the shark get ick or other diseases? I have started a QT tank for new fish that I will keep in there for a min of 8 weeks. Should I leave the DT the way it is or remove the shark?

If the Shark survived the die off then it is possible it may have ich or velvet, to be safe I would remove it. Since sharks are very desirable then you could probably keep it as long as you do not add any other fish to your tank. Keep him by himself for a month or so, and watch him closely for any signs of disease.
