Lost clam to pm.

I finally lost my last clam to PM. I just wondered how long I should wait before adding more clams to the tank?? The tank is clamless right now and has been that way for about a week. I would imagine the parasite dies with the clam but does anyone know?

It is better to be safe than sorry. I would let the tank run fallow for 3 or 4 weeks. And if possible VERY SLIGHTLY increase the temperature.

PM is really still a mystery. I dont even think they know what protozoan actually causes it yet.
