Lost everything...few questions

Last weeks storm caused a bunch of trees to fall here in State College and I was without power for 3 days. My tank temp went down to 47 degrees and pretty much everything died. My only survivors were two hermit crabs.

I plan to reuse all of the live rock. What should I do before I reuse it. I have cleaned all of the dead corals off of it already. Can the sand be reused? I have a 75 that I was in the process of building and would use the sand in that if it is possible.

It is a sad day!!!

Thats terrible. I would rinse the sand to remove anything that died in it... other than that as long as the rock & sand is clean your good to go... if your ever in hazleton hit me up ill give you a few frags to help get you rolling.

I am in State College, and with all the big trees around the house was really worried about power. I got lucky though. Sorry to hear you didn't...

got some new life.....Thanks sanjay!!!!!! They are living in the aquapod 24 for now. They will be going to their permanent home soon.
