Lost my female Clarki clownfish

I had a pair of spawning clarki clowns. They had spawned every 3 to 4 weeks over the last year and I currently have 29 of their offspring in a grow out tank at three months age. Suddenly three weeks ago the large female developed popeye in my display tank and died last week. Now my male is without his mate. What is the best way to get a mate fro my lonely male. She has been gone for two weeks and the male is in the anemone by himself. Should I try to put a large clarki in the tank in the hope of it being a female. Should I wait and put one of their offspring in the tank with him or should I put an older juvenile from my LFS in the tank in the hope that the male will turn into a female and pair up with the juvenile as a male?
