Lost my Goby is the pistol next?

Hello all,

I have a relatively new tank (2 months old). 60G rimless cube with lots of live rock, 10G sump/skimmer. It houses one damsel, one feather duster and a porites coral. I recently added a Randall's goby/tiger pistol shrimp pair. Acclimated over several hours (temp and drip), and introduced them to the tank about 10 days ago. They were paired at the LFS and immediately paired in the tank. About 5-6 days later, the goby left his burrow and became less active. I tried spot feeding him, he ate less and less and eventually didn't make it. There are so many hiding places I haven't seen the pistol since, however I do see a multitude of burrows.

Should I try adding another Goby in the hopes that they will pair?

Nitrites/Nitrates 0, Ammonia 0 Salinity 1.021 (I am slowly increasing that)

Only variables are: 1) dealing with an red algae bloom in the tank (LFS owners assured me on several occasions that it wouldn't be an issue). 2) the goby had a couple of knicks on his dorsal fin that the LFS said may have been from other gobies he was kept with.

Any help is appreciated!
