Lost my new anenome?

I bought a Green tipped bubble anenome yesterday, and put it in a crevice on a rock wall.

Woke up this morning, and can't find it anywhere.
It's not in my intank overflow, not in my filter bag,
I don't think it got into my Koralia evolutions,
I looked everywhere i could in the rocks, couldn't find it.

I have to believe it's somewhere in my rockwork, I just can't find it yet.
Any ideas or words of wisdom?

BTAs are known for moving more than most anemones. They will especially hide out in the shade if your lights are brighter than the tank they came from. After a few days they usually adapt and start to creep back out a little at a time.

It's there, hiding. Even the largest BTA can shrink down to almost nothing, when needed. It'll most likely move around the tank, until it finds it's happy spot, anchoring itself on the underside of your rock work. It'll stretch out, towards the light, during the day, receding under the rocks, at night. Just wait it out, it'll appear somewhere, once it's found it's happy spot.

welcome to anenome ownership! actually they own you.this is why i think they are cooler then lps they have minds of there own.they do the weirdest things.did you ever see a huge long tentacle anenome just disapear in the sand in a second ''puff''then gone.i have seen huge bubble tip move threw the tiniest crack to get to the otherside it was impossable but he did it. .i have a yuma that looks exactly like a small rose bubble tip moves around to.you will find him and he will come out.just let him go were he wants to you cant change there mind

Thanks to all!

I Have a maxi-mini Anenome, and he is still on the sea shell he came with!

I'll keep looking for him- kinda of a mystery!

I have 2 clowns, one O. clown, one black sebae that I was hoping would eventually go into it.

I found him!
Hiding under/behind a dark area rock near the bottom.

I hope he comes out soon and joins the visual stuff in my DT.

He came out a few days ago, still in a darker place however, but he/she's now easier to see.

My clowns pay no attention to it, yet, I"m keeping my fingers crossed.
