Ben,
I sent my question to this address orderprocessing
@marinedepot.com since 28 / 4. Right now I don't have much time to wait. Thank you for your help. I already order from the other shop.

Because this is their forum, and he feels his "gripe" was warranted. If I had truely sent 7 emails and not received a reply I woul dhave called them myself.

Here is a recent complaint. Why on MD.live does it have a phone number that MD dry goods answers?

I attempted to order some live rock via phone in order on their toll line. After sitting on hold for 8 to 10 minutes, a gentleman answered and I told him I wanted to order some live rock. His response was let me transfer you to MD.live. I got the phone number off of MD.live website. Again, I'm placed on hold for another 3-4 minutes. No one had answered so I termed the call. I promptly called their competitor and placed my order so I will have my rock next week. No, I do not want anything free and until today MD has always given me good service. It is not my lose it is theirs because they have lost a sale and possible free advertising via word of mouth. Jeff at DFS/Liveaquaria was very nice and helpful. I can't wait for the boxes of goodies which I will get next week.

DiveDog,

I apologize about the wait on the phone. Our phone system does roll you over to our Dry Goods line if all the live goods CSR's are busy. Most of the time, our dry goods customer service staff (which are comprised of hobbyists like yourself) are able answer questions for Marine Depot Live calls. However, they cannot take the order and must transfer you back. This is a rare occurence though since we answer mostly all of the incoming calls immediately. Currently Marinedepot live's average wait time is 24 seconds for the past couple of days.

Again I apologize for the probems, please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

No problem. I do realize the day before a holiday weekend most companies are running skeleton staffs. As was how I scheduled my offices, just enough people to keep the company running.

I have not read many posts about the quality of rock from MD and actually wanted to give it shot to satisfy my curiosity. As I had said, up until this I have been very pleased with the service that I have received from MD. The end result is that I am still getting my rock when I wanted it.

Appreciate your concern..
