Lost one of my favorite clams today...

Well as a few of you may know, my tank crashed while I was away at NYC. I finally lost one of my clams today,,,and would just like to publicly announce its death...may you rest in peace.

My condolence to ya' ezcompany, I'm sure that your clam went to the big lagoon in the sky. Maybe some day you could invest in the LightHouse controller that allows you to monitor your tank online remotely. Sorry for your loss:sad1:. TinMan

Will do! Anything in particular? Right now's the time to jump on any rainbow teardrops that are available. Quite a few have been floating around, but I understand the Solomon Islands is no longer exporting clams. So, it might be a long time before we'll see them again.

You got any sources for rainbow teardrops? I lost a gold teardrop a couple weeks ago, and would like to replace it.

i had to frag all my sps pieces as they were all STNin, so though i didn't lose much in species, i lost a LOT of growth. i totally lost a blue slimer, birdsnest, a cap...fish look stressed but should be fine...

i was away at NYC for a week, at the last day the roomate called and said the autofeeder was out of food, i told him to fill it back up, but it was filled with pellets instead of flakes...needless to say pellets were dumped into the tank...ammonia spike...etc.etc.etc.
