Lost Zoanthids?

I bought a tiny frag of brown with neon green mouth zoanthids ( like 4 of them) and it was pretty late when i got home so i put them on a rock without gluing them down and they stayed put for about 3 days and then dissapeared. so i started lookig for them and found them on the sand they looked like they were doing well so i left them there. now i cant find them abywhere and was wondering if you guys think they will pop up or should i stop hoping. thanks
oh and can anybody ID them? i don't have a pic but they are brown with neon green mouths. thanks

i have some pipe organ, an anemone, more zoanthids, a mushroom, a feather duster, an emerald crab, a pom pom crab, two clowns, a blenny, and a goby. so i don't think they were eaten. thanks for the replies.Oh and mfinn i still gotta go get some lunar eclipses, ill be sure ti mention your name. thanks

They probably floated into your rock work somewhere. And if so, you may not see them again.

get a small powerhead like rio 600 or other. extend a nozzle withsome tubing. try to derect the flow from PH from the back of the tank so what ever is under the rocks can float forward. i was able to get back zoa after they fell behind the rocks a nd stay there for 4 month. god luck
