Lost!

Hey guys

i picked up a mated pair of false percs from the lFS the other day and they were fully grown and had been living together for about 1.5 years already
i QT them as normal just to be safe but when i put the two of them in my tank one of them literally disappeared within minutes!! im not even kidding minutes
so i figured he was in the overflow or something but i scoured both overflows and nothing! i did a big water change this morning as part of my regimen and re-did the scape and he is no where to be found
i also moved the second clown to my fug area and it seems to be perfectly content in there alone with all the room in the world

so my question is basically ***???
lol

where could it have disappeared to?
and no its not lying dead anywhere cause i vaccumed the bottom of the tank as well today on purpose to look for him

what other fish do you have in your tank? have you checked the back of the tank to see if he/she jumped out?

ya i found him thanks, actually "bruce" found him (2 year old husky) jumped out of the back of the tank

sorry to hear that. i usually loose six line wrasses but never clowns jumping out of the tank.
