How is this thread relevant to this forum?

It is the light. It is related to the light that attracts the flies.
It is also the food. When MH kills the flies it goes to the tank for the fish food.

I just can't figure out the "cleanning up the room" one.:bum:

this is in the sothern california reef section... therefore, i live in southern california, and my lights that attract the flies are a part of my reef equipment.

Hey man I was at Pet Supreme and they have this stick that have flie sex hormones on them. When they land on it they get stuck and just die on there. They have some hanging up on the ceilings for the same reason.

The sex hormones arent very potent so it wont attract flies from everywhere...Just pretty much cover a 5 foot radius smell for the flies.

You can hide it somewhere under or behind a dresser.

Im sure Wal Mart or Home Depot has them as well.

oh fasho.. koo im might check them out this week then, but i wouldnt stick them in my room and clean up the mess later.. i might have it outside of my window.

Check to see if you have fruit that is going bad, that's where they are coming from and don't throw your peals in the trash inside the house.
