I acquired an Eight line flasher wrasse 10 days ago. Its a really nice fish, ate pellets on day 1 and has been coloring up more each and every day. More people should consider adding this flasher wrasse to their tanks.

Congrats!!! I just bought one too.. It's sitting at my LFS. picking it up on Friday, doing ttm then, how did yours do in qt???

I have a concern with my Blue-Green Chromis, it's my first time in the hobby. I just got a few damsels. Heard there good to start a beginner tank. But the green chromis is getting some spots on him. It's been two days. I been feeding like instructed. Can anyone help

@coraladdiction I've had multiple over the years. Can't ever get them past at....until now.
I have 4 females( just in case a couple would die in at. My luck with these) but all made it through QT. They are all i. My DT and one was a transitioning male when I bought it, although sold as female which I knew it wasn't.(got them from wholesalers on sale). Now I have a nice harem, 3females and 1 male.
They def are great flashers when supermales

You should post some pics when you get yours.
Mine went through Prazipro with no issues. I took a very passive approach in QT-ing this fish just because I lost a Lineatus supermale to Cupramine and a Hawaiian flame wrasse during transferring from DT to QT to treat for internal parasites. The flame literally died within 30 mins of transferring from one tank to the other.
So this time I just put the 8 line in bare bottom FOWLR, treated with prazipro and that's it. If it develops crypto or anything else then I will deal with it. It's doing very well. IME with fairy and flasher are more sensitive to stress than most fish...and stress can be almost as deadly as cryptocaryon. Keep us posted when you get yours and best of luck.

I saved the Diver's Den photo, but I will try to take a picture later today. I have quite a few wrasses, but he is definitely one of my favorites.

Guys, my LFS guy, who i trust, says the one I bought is a Red Sea 8 line. It's very pale pink in color and I didn't bother counting the lines.
What did you guys get yours for? I paid $50 for mine, but it seems like since they're so scarce now, that they're going for almost double the price.
Is he mistaken or did I get a deal or is that current market price???

Yeah, but the lighting made it look paler. They turn into males though, correct?
