These are one of the easiest ways to quiet a noisy bulkhead. For those new to the hobby please keep in mind that shorter drain lines require more air being sucked in to quiet them. While sometimes we can use 1/8" airline tubing on a draining bulkhead that's 10 feet long with 4 elbows we might have to use 3/16" airline tubing on a drain line that's only 7 feet long with 2 elbows. More water flow because of shorter lines equals more pressure and more air needed.
