low light clams?

I strongly disagree. I've kept a lot of clams under a lot of different situations, and yours is most definately hyper-extending his mantle, a reaction to low light situations. Not a good sign, in my experience.
 
its shown growth over the last year, never gapes, reacts to changes of light, and has not lost a bit of color....so what if it is hyperextending, its otherwise fine.
 
I was not referring to your clam. In fact, I don't even understand, you have not posted in this thread before.
