Brown is better than pale, I run 400w halide on a 58 gallon tank, along with 4 PAR38s. Just keep feeding a little at a time until the system is adjusted to that amount of food. If the colors don't improve raise the amount of food. This hypothesis/observation is only valid if all other requirements are met. I feed my 150g system about 2-3 grams of pappone everyday, I feed the fish 2 times a day with flake and 3 or 4 times a week with mysis. I only have 4 fish in the system.
