Low PH

I've been having a few problems with my pH recently. At night it seems to drop to around 7.7 and during the day, at max the pH rises to 8.1 (usually only around 8).

It's a 90g aquarium with a 30g sump, the total water volume is around 110 gallons. I've got two individual reactors setup, one with carbon the other Gfo, and both run continuously.

Current Parameters:

Salinity- 1.025
Cal- 430
Mag- 1360
Alk- 9.6


I'm using BulkReef Supply Cal/Mag/Alk supplements for the aquarium.

seems like you have the same problem as many of us in cold regions, open a window over night to let co2 out and O2 inside its due to build up of co2 indoors.

other options to look at are co2 scrubber
and running the skimmer air line to outside.

do a search on those.

GL, and 7.7 is really not too low, mine is betweeb 7.6-8 and SPS are growing fine.
