Low range phosphate testing?

Yeah Yeah
Anyone using a Hanna phosphate checker? I hear they are not very accurate at low range. Never used one so I don't know. My ranges would be from .01-.07 so I need accurate low range testing. Should I bother with this purchase or get the old style colorimeter? Anyone using conventional testkits that are accurate at low range?

Hi there Richard. I use the Hanna ULR meter. Been using for a long time too. IME my unit is very accurate and consistant. I tested against the D&D Low range test kit which a reefer friend uses. Both our kits agreed almost bang on.

Here is a thread that talks about the Hanna ULR meter: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2116704 See post 11 I think.

My Hanna Checker has always been reliable and I always shoot for low phosphate range. Between .03-.1 is usually where Im ok with it.
