When I moved my contents to the new tank the Sebae decided to move down the tank and park next to the Candy Cane Coral. I moved the Candy Cane but its definetly damage. Looking for Recomendations. i.e.
* Leave as is
* Frag off the good heads. If so, how?
* others?
Even an apparently bare head can re-flesh, though rarely. Give it excellent water, try a little cyclopeeze (I don't ordinarily feed, but it needs all the help it can get) and hope. If it doesn't show positive signs by the second week, I'd frag.
All you really need todo is remove the branches that are dead for cosmetic reasons. The structure of a candy coral is such that you don't really need to worry about the patch spreading.
