Is low light the initial step for regaining lost color? Not sure How Low can you go. Had a few, ok all rainbow acans morphed due to light and a colorful chalice is now bland, assuming it is too much light. Unfortunately it will be a long term experiment.
if all other parameters are fine (temp, cal, alk) and your corals are bleaching, too much light is usually the cause. Move them lower in the tank or to a shadier spot for a couple weeks and you'll usually see improvement relatively quickly.
Luckily running AI led's so i can adjust but color shifts in acans is frustrating, chalice may have to move them around. Was not sure how long to wait before making other changes,
