I've searched everywhere and have read for hours upon hours forums, articles, ect..... and have found no consensus, just continuous arguments. So I'd thought I'd throw it out here for some more input for those actually having success. The same went for types of food. So here is a list of the corals and what I think the average beliefs are in brackets.
Frogspams (don't direct feed)
Torch (don't direct feed)
Hammer (don't direct feed)
Candy Cane (don't direct feed)
Duncan (don't direct feed, belief they will outgrow skeleton and have tissue loss)
Open Brain (feed meaty chunks every two weeks)
Long Tentacle Plate (feed meaty chunks every two weeks)
Bubble (feed meaty chunks every week)
Elegance (feed meaty chunks every week)
Please give your suggestion and types of food. When I state "don't direct feed" it is because they will get enough from other feedings.
Here is what I currently do. DT phytoplankton 3 times a week, Cyclopeze 3 times a week, feed meaty as suggested above, and feed hungry 7 fish twice a day alternating pellets and shrimp, except when everyone gets the Cyclopeze.
There is tons of talk of overfeeding and under as well. Everyone in my tank is doing great, but wonder if they would do better. I have never had a trace of Nitrates. Thanks for the input.
