LPS full tank shots?

LOL, sorry, I think I worded my answer kind of funny.

I have two 10k bulbs (I call them days) and 4 actinics.

All the bulbs run everyday, with a normal daylight cycle. (Actinics on first, then the days come on, then at the end of the day the days go out, leaving just the actinics on for an hour, then all the lights are out)

I don't have any fancy equipment. No reactors, no chillers, no dosing, no fancy filters....I truely believe that the less equipment you have, the less you need to worry about. The less equipment there is, the less chance you have of something malfunctioning and screwing things up.

You are not alone! Although my tank doesn't look as good as yours.

since this is a "live thread" (people are loooking at it) pardon my off topic questions...
i see many "full " tanks (BEAUTIFUL!!!)
are you adding these corals over a period of days/weeks/months/years?
is it possible to "load" a tank with multiple corals at once, or should they be added slowly??
thanks again!

I personally am adding slowly, but that's because of cost of frags and I want to individually research the corals so I can pick out what I hope is the best spot in the tank for the frag.

I don't see how there could be an issue in adding multiple corals at once, as long as you're not seating them right next to each other in the tank. Corals have such a minimal bioload that I can't imagine you would stress the tanks water parameters by addings fair amount of corals all at once.

+1 for Falconer.IMO, the only thing that you should concern is calcium usage. if you are adding tons of LPS and SPS, you should check on your calcium, alk and PH. they will change for awhile until you find out how much the livestocks use.
