Anybody post the web pages in oplainfield area like rods page and i looked at sharkys...whats rod page?? and any other in the area besides petfun and what not...

Can you please clarify your question. I think I might be able to help but I am not exactly sure what it is that you are asking.

I would highly recommend Splash of Life in St. Charles. It'll be a good 1/2 hour drive, but it'll be worth it. I LOVE LPS corals and that is where I get all of mine. They always have torch, frogspawn, hammer, bubble, and others. Awesome prices, great specimens, and Brett (owner) has even fragged pieces for me at my request (unlike many other shops I've been to). It is at the in Campton Square right on 64. Oh, plus it's on the way to rod's reef from your location.

I would recommend Splash of Life also....of course, only if it is on your way to Rod's ;)
There is a place in Plainfield called "upscale aquatics" not too shabby.....

I don't know the website for upscale aquatics, I do know they are off route 59.
Ultimatereef.us is also in plainfield probably not even 10 minutes from upscale. Check out the site.

If you are looking for a store in Plainfield, I vote for an experienced reefer hands down--- ultimatereef.us.

Upscale is very pricey w a very small amount of SPS, which do not appear to be very healthy. I have found the employees have very limited knowledge of SPS as well.

Upscale is expensive. Good selection of fish, but not that great on the corals there. Plus, between all the employees there I think those fish are introduced to about 3 packs worth of second-hand smoke a day :smokin:

We are an online store but do have locals come by all the time. If you are interested in stopping by just let me know so we can setup an appointment.

Jim

Fish prices seem ok but everything else is expensive. I would not put anything from there in my tank w the tons of bubble algae covering the sand, live rock and corals themselves.
