Hi,

What kind of food do you feed your LPS? Do you target feed?

I have: frogspawn, bubble, elegance, pipe organ, clove coral.

Thanks.

I don't have any of those, but I do have a hammer (same genus as frogspawn) who will occassionally take small mysis, brine or cyclop-eeze. I've heard people feeding the same to bubble corals, and I bet they'd work for the others as well, but that's just a guess. I know the first two don't actually need to be target fed, but from what I understand, most stoney corals will benefit from occasional feedings.

If you have good enough lighting and feed you tank lots of meaty fare, you don't need to target feed, although it will increase growth

I feed silverside pieces to Plerogyra, Euphyllia, and Catalaphyllia. IME, Plerogyra are capable of ingesting much larger pieces and even prey capture (i.e. fish).
