LPS pellets. what will work

Recently acquired an acan and blasto, my supplier showed me his ultra lps pellets from fauna marina or something. i've read that some people use fish food pellets. specifically hikari marine s & marine a. can i get away with spectra pure? i usually feed brine phyto and zoo but i like the idea of pellets and cleaner water. what can i get away with? what are some of your tricks?

they will usually eat just about any type of small sinking pellet food.

I try to feed a little bit of everything. I have the medium LPS pellets from fauna (which seem tiny). I sprinkle them over all my LPS about once a week. I also feed mysis and brine about once a week and occasionally add some plankton and rotifers.

Are the fauna pellets worth feeding? I don't know but I have it and all my LPS is happy

I've fed my corals pellet food for a long time, just make sure you soak the pellets in tank water first or it can dehydrate the corals if they eat them too quickly. I also crush some with a spoon to feed to smaller LPS, mushrooms and palys.

I was unaware of that, I've always fed mine hikari marin s and now spectrum, pretty much whatever my fish are eating. Do LPS pellets not have those plants? I always figured they were marked up regular pellet food.

Most of them would end up on the sandbed or in the rocks and just help with growing algae, spot feeding is a lot more efficient
