LPS Splitting Too Much?

Is it possible for a candy cane to split too often? I have a neon green candy cane that I feed regularly, besides upping my light to 150w MH recently. In the last 3 weeks, this cane has split twice and now the two splits are splitting again. Is it going to burn itself out, or is it due to the regular feeding and better lighting?

I don't see a problem with that, though as always, keep an eye out.

I'd think with spot feeding + more light, faster growth might be natural

That's sort of what I thought. I was just afraid that I was somehow putting into an ultra-growth mode by possibly overfeeding coupled with the better light, thereby causing it to burn out later on down the road. It does seem to be quite happy, so I'm guessing that all is well. Thanks guys for the input.
