LR and Air Bubble's

This has me stumped and i cant seem to figure it out.

The last couple of days by late afternoon / early evening my LR gets bubbles all over it for some reason almost as if the LR is releasing bubbles from inside it that has been trapped. There is NO bubbles from the return or any of the power heads. There isnt even any micro bubbles in the tank what so ever. This is puzzling me cause it just started and nothing has changed in the tank and the tank is about 2 yrs old.

Any thoughts as too why??? Only thing that has changed is the lights now that i think about it. I went from T5's to 250 MH's on it.

I have got a few patches of cyno bacteria and they will produce bubbles. Take a good look at the rock and see if there is a marron patch under the bubbles.

yes i have quite a bit of flow. could be cyno but if itd there it is a very very thin layer that i cant see.

Something to think about...live rock holds anerobic bacteria inside it...the end product of de-nitrafication is sulpher gas and that gas has to go somewhere. My older pcs of live rock sometimes have bubbles on them as well, mostly I see it on the undersides. It could simply be that end product of de-nitrafication happening. Swift water movement takes the surface bubbles off my rock but it does collect on the undersides where the flow isn't so great. I don't have cyano amymore yet I still have these bubbles on some of my rock.

Maybe it is related, maybe I just full of it but it makes sense.

Something that makes me think that it may be cyano is if the bubbles only appear later in the day. That is a typical sign of cyano.

I get cyno in an area that gets probably the most direct flow in my whole tank. I siphon it out when I do water changes. Might try to siphon the area next water change and see if it comes back.
