LR rubble question

I have just set up my 24gal Aqua Pod. Everyone keeps telling me to put LR rubble in the second chamber. Do I just put it in there loose or should I put it in a bag?

What should be in that chamber with it? Filter Floss? Purigen? ChemiPure?

you can put LR in the second chamber but its not a must if you have the LR in your tank, I have all FilterFloss, Purigen and Chemipure in my other chamber, However if you do not have LR in your tank then I would put LR in the second chamber
