LRS REEF Frenzy Food review

I use it. It's 16.99 at my local. The fish go crazy for it more than other frozen that I've used (Rods, etc).

I thaw and rinse in RODI, not that it has to be done, just habit I guess.

Reef, fish, herbivore frenzy are great. I use all three. I prefer reef, but sometimes the LFS is out, so I'll use the other two.

A word of caution on the fertility frenzy. It is formulated differently by design and will make your skimmer go bananas.

I also keep their Fish Eggs product on hand as well. It is good to get new fish eating while in QT (even during Prazi treatment).

So you have a subjective opinion rather than an objective one over the LRS food. First, their 8oz package is $20. Second, there aren't many who have the time, inclination, or an understanding wife to blend their own food and then freeze it. I would rather spend $20 on a high quality, well known and reviewed food than spend an hour blending my own ingredients, packaging, and then cleaning out our blender (which wouldn't happen because my wife would kill me).

This...in the nutshell, otherwise I'd make my own. I break off a little piece and put in a dixie cup with a few drops of Selcon and let it thaw out in the fridge while I'm at work, feed them when I get home and they go nuts.
