LT Anemone life expectancy

I have my Anemone , for over 5 years. It;s been shrinking slowly. It used to be huge and long and wavy tentacles. What's going on?

It for sure isn't dying of old age.

Need some more info --- tank, lights, water parameters (( with numbers, including salinity )) etc.

I agree. This anemone should live for many, many years. In addition to the questions todd asked, how often do you feed it? Have you made any changes to your tank lately?

Anemones don't die of old age as far as what the experts say. Anemones live until a predator, or some other misfortune befalls them.

Technically, they could live forever via splitting, even though LTA generally don't do it. What does your temperature usually run?

Thanks for all the post. I replaced my MH yesterday and it seems perking up again. I had MH light for over 8 months. I hope that should do it.
