LT splitting

I've had a LT anemone for about a year now. Its gone from about a 5-6in disc to about 20inches now. Has anyone ever seen these split on their own? I've heard stories of them splitting like RBTAs, but never seen proof of it.

Mines just getting a little big for the tank, and I'm curious if there's a way to help things along.

Nope never heard or seen them splitting.

I know in Julian Sprung's book he says that longitudinal fission is a suspected means of reproduction; however, I've never heard of one cloning, and kinda think they only reproduce sexually.

Maybe it's time to experiment... Has anyone out there tried to cut them into halves or quarters?

I have one, and it reminds me of a really big aiptasia. I have a hunch it would recover and regrow.

i had sprinkled salt on majanos and they would split....hmmmmm
