hey everyone,
need some help with my LTA. it lodged itself on a rock and its suppose to be in atleast 4 inches of sand. the problem is is that its impossible to get off this rock, i simply cant get it off. it looks uncomfortable on the rock but idk. any suggestions

post a pic, let us identify it as an actual "lta". Or something else, typically M. doreensis will not attach to a rock so thats what makes me think it may be something else. Lfs alot of times have the anemones identified wrong. Until you get a pic up just leave it be, thats obviously where it wants itself, he knows better than we do what he needs to attach too.

whether it is an LTA or not, if it is attaching itself to a rock... it wants to be there! Why go prying it up just because its there? You will not be able to controll where it goes anyhow.

My lta tends to lodge between rock and sand, 1/2 of each.

yeah mine was lodged between rock and sand as well and then i upgraded my tank and had to move the rock, but where he is now i cant set it between rock and sand to its difficult to put him anywhere near the sand. over the night he moved a little up the rock but i guess ill leave it and see how things play out. thank you for the help.
