is it normal for a anemone to inflat and delfat alot during the day and night?

How much is alot? I found that my bta was doing it a couple times a day and then he suddenly took a turn for the worst. Must have been something about my tank as i moved him to another tank and all is we'll. But they do deflat to expell waste but more than once a day i think is a bad thing.

What are your water params and lighting?

Mine will change size slightly during the day but it only really deflates about once a week or every other week.

My LTA (M. doreensis) seems to only "deflate" when aggitated by a major cleaning or some such tank activity. It will occasionally purge some of its water, maybe once a month but not very much just a little thinning of the tentacles.

is it normal for LTA inflate and deflate over often right after acclimation? (repeat for a day or 2)?

I don't remember mine doing that but it is common for other types so I wouldn't be concerned.
