I am interested in buying a 250-300gph canister filter. Thought I would see if any of you have one laying around looking to sell before I purchase from LFS.

You mean like the Rainbow Lifeguard type housing and filter? I have one if so.

If you mean like the Magnum HOT units, stay away from those. They blow microbubbles. What a pain

I think they are used more often in FW tanks. I plan on using one as a sump for my 7.5g mantis tank, much like ninjafishe's
