lubbocks wrasse vs. bartlett's anthias--beware

FYI to all....

i had a lubbocks wrasse for sometime (not sure how you sex a lubbocks so not sure if male/female) and i added 1 male and 3 female bartlett's (in a 200gal reef) and it didnt take long for the lubbock to kill the male bartlett. I also noticed the coloring on the lubbock really increased/bold. Maybe i have a male lubbock??

Most website says you can mix wrasse and anthias but there are limits.

Can you share a picture? That doesn't sound like the behavior of a C. lubbocki, however ever fish is unique as we know. They are very easy to sex. Females are pink, clear fins, dot on the caudal fin. Males are a mix of pink, yellow, black, with no dot on the caudal fin. Much more colorful.

Planktovores can sometimes be problem with each other and I have heard quite a few times of aggressive lubbocks wrasse but bartletts can normally stick up for themselves a little. Was there a major size difference? if may have been that it didn't acclimate to the tank environment as well as the others and suffered. How are the others?

Yes, the lubbock is bigger than the barrlets...i wouldn't say a lot bigger
