Found a surprise in my sump when I got home from work last Friday

My hawaiian flame wrasse (next to the clear reactor) must've jumped from my tank and landed in there
Was a lucky jump because he had to go through the cutout in the canopy (about 3"x5"), with enough zing to move the piece of felt hanging over the hole, and still have the momentum to make another 1 1/2" or so to make it over the edge and land in the sump.
He must've come through the hole on the right side, that's the side where he always hangs out.

He's gonna be a pain to get out of there. I tried once and he darted away. As soon as I turn out the lights at night he darts down into the rocks. He seems happy enough, swims up and looks at you when you lean over to find him. lol And constantly picking at the rocks and walls and getting fat. As long as he stays away from the pumps' inlets....

Cool...might want to put a baited trap down there and not feed the tank for a couple days.

If you start feeding rinsed mysis out of a net in the same spot.
Eventualy It will associate the net with food and he will actually swim right into the net. I have done this on more than one occasion.

I was thinking I'd pull all the rock out this weekend and put the trap in there with a rock or two in it. It's a pretty big trap, 10x10x10 or so. Hoping if he won't go in there to eat, maybe he'll go in to sleep.
