Andy i'm running old magnetics I believe! they don't even have an enclosure - never even dealt with this tank wiring( as my buddy did it for me while I was away at work:( ) Plus i'm always afraid of getting zapped.

Anyways they fire up my xm's 400 20 k w/o problems.
I would have to get a visual picture of the reflector in my canopy to finally make my decision. I get the measures from the site but nothing like looking at them in person and deciding if i would have enuff space between the water surface and the canopy .

I just got a pair of fans to strategically position inside the canopy blowing some hgot air into my attic exhausts and reduce some of my heat as well as give my chiller a much needed break since its working overtime and my backup chiller fan failed-second time in the last year and a half.

The consensus is that the reflectors will provide me a better cooling measure, plus the added spread seems to be the logical next step. But as u well know w/o research and others personal experiences this hobby is way to complicated.

Anyways lemme figure out when can I swing by and also drop u a couple of frags.

try checking Joe's tank, I believe his are not the true lumenarc but the lumenmax by sunlight supply but the are similar in size.....hugemongus!

Rog just like we talked about- the size is what derails me from using them.

Maybe something smaller out there.
