Lumen Max 3 HQI pendants

I just got the new Lumen Max 3 HQI pendants and they work great the cover a lot more tank of the tank then the Aqua Medics did

i was thinking on getting some myself... how high to have them and what spread do you get from them? tank size?

I have 2 of them 12" off the water my tank is 48" x 48" they cove a bout a 3' x 3' area I am also running 2 aqua medic to cover the 2 corners that the Lumen Max is not hitting with full briteness I think I can buy one more and cover the whole tank and get rid of the Aqua Medics

if you dont mind, where did u get them from and how much were they?

so they cover a 3by3 really well and 4by4 are slightly covered? are their dark spots or just not as intense?

I would also like to know where they came from and how much if possible.

i know reefgeek said they got some in and i believe in the SLS forum rep said there were 149.99 each..
