Lumenarcs or Lumenbrights

OK I am setting up a 270g 72''x36''x24'' tall. I am debating on which reflector to get. It will be either Lumenarcs or Lumenbrights. What is eveyone's opinion on the 2. I have a lumenarc mini stealth over my 40b right now and I love the spread that it gives. What do you like and dislike between the two pros and cons?

Thanks that helped me make my decision considerbly. I think I can get away with 2 Large Lumenarcs over a 72''x36''x24'' tank. One less bulb to replace everyear and less energy consumption!

Not to muck up your decision, but I went through the same thing just recently and came up with this. Three Lumenbright large with a 250-400-250 arrangement. Total W= 900, compared with 800 for two 400's. My tank is 68X36X25. I have all 20K with no other lighting. I am glad I went with three for the spread. My thought was to try this and if it looked like too much light just sell one of the fixtures and keep the two. Another plus is you can keep some lower light requiring things under the 250's (chalice, acans, etc.) I am not that far from you (Ridgefield, exit 14 off I-5), so if you would like to check it out let me know.

Sounds like you have a sweet set-up Ken! I am planning to take a trip down to Portland in a couple of months. I will keep you in mind when I head down that way. I plan on going to a see a couple LFS down there. I will be buying 3 reflectors for sure but I will start with 2 and see what it looks like and if I feel like I need more light coverage I'll add the other reflector. How about a 175 watt Iwasaki with a LB mini wide ? The numbers for performance is posted in the thread below . If that doesn't work then look at the 250 spec's .
