lumenmaxelite pendants

got in 2 new lumenmax elite pendants with reefflux doubleended bulbs. Cannot get the bulbs to stay in, when i turn the fixture over they fall loose and turn off. anyone got a clue. it says they snap in but there all the way up and no click. have other brands and not had this problem

dumb question but did you try them both ways? they should have a contact side

sounds like it may be bad contact springs or the bulbs are the wrong size

You can adjust the ends either tighter or farther. Either way, the bulb will stay in place by getting squeezed (former) or pulled on each end (latter).

ive been trying the squeeze method can get them to turn on and run but when I slide the glass or try to turn them over they go out, what a piece of garbage it shouldnt be this much trouble to put a light in. Have 2 other types of metal halides no problems

ok I crimped the reflector until it collaped against the light so tight the light couldnt move. I was then able to turn on the lights. the clamp that are suppose to hold the lights are a joke.to bad these are really good lights there just not made right.
