Does anyone have a lumens meter I can borrow? I think my light may be getting to old (got it used) and I think it may be damaging corals.

thanks

Why don't we use some of the club money and buy this piece of equipment? I think everyone would be able to use this at some point in their lighting life, me being one of them.

How much is a half decent unit?
The Apogee Quantun meter with the seperate sensor would run about $350 plus shipping. You want the seperate sensor version as it allows for the sensor to be imersed into the tank to measure par readings at various depths in the tank. HTH

I may just buy one... maybe we can work something out where you can rent it for a small amount of money and put a small deposit down. to assist with the cost. Once its returned you get your deposit back.

If I were a club arsifer I would definitely get one!

I am one and I have one:D

Hey John if you have one, what are your thoughts to renting the unit out to trustworthy people who needs to rent or borrow the unit :).

John J. How often do you use yours? It would be great to have one, as mentioned, for club loan since, I guess, a couple times a year would do it???
