lunar eclipse question

I am relatively new to zoas and palys. So, I just picked up a colony of what was sold to me as a lunar eclipse. Just curious how much are these worth per polyp? Also, is their a technique for mounting single polyps on frag discs or is it basically letting loose polyps attach naturally on a bunch of rubble rocks.

Appreciate any help.

If you just have loose polyps floating around it's best to use super glue gel to attach them to a plug/rock of your choice.

lunars are very common.i see them all the time at many LFS.dont see them for sale PP.

I was looking thru some of the lunar eclipses from some of the posts on here and other online vendors. Mine does not look like lunar eclipses If anything, they look more like bam bams. I'll try to take some pics to share as soon as I can.

If you bought them at a LFS it wouldnt suprise me if they got the ID wrong. I catch LFS misnaming coral almost every time I go in. I think it may be because of the amount of coral they move through the store, its probably a little difficult to keep track of everything.

LFS always misname things to make them sell faster , you need to always be careful..same as ebay
