Lunar Lights?

Do you guys run your lunar lights 24/7?

o well i was keeping them on for about 15 hours a day and my main light on for about 10. just wanted to get some oppinions didnt know if it was a good idea for them to be on 24/7

Mine are only on 8pm to 11pm. They are only for your viewing after the actnics go out.

my actnics on at 8am then daylight on at 9 am off at 7 pm actnics off at 8pm then lunar lights on till 8 am everything growing great

does anyone leave there actnics on for 24 hours?

it's not going to hurt if you run them for 24/7. I personally run mine oppisite of the lights. just to save that extra $.15 a day

I shut them off while the actinic and MH lights are on and also for a 6 hour span at night. The corals that were directly under the moon lights never closed. I don't know if that would have been a problem long term or not, but I figured it's better to be safe, so the tank goes completely dark each night.
